The people behind Relynk

Former operations engineers, reliability specialists, and industrial software developers who got tired of the same problem.

Sarah Chen - CTO

Sarah Chen

CTO & Co-Founder

Previously lead engineer at Inductive Automation, where she spent 7 years building Ignition SCADA integrations for Fortune 500 manufacturers. Architect of Relynk's sensor ingestion engine and anomaly detection pipeline.

Marcus Webb - VP Product

Marcus Webb

The full team

Relynk is 18 people across engineering, operations, and customer success.

Platform Engineering

5 engineers focused on ingestion infrastructure, anomaly detection, and API development. Two with former backgrounds at OSIsoft (now AVEVA).

Integrations & Connectivity

3 engineers who maintain protocol adapters for OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, and SCADA system connectors. Collectively hold 6 industrial automation certifications.

Customer Success

4 customer success engineers, all with prior experience in industrial operations or maintenance management. They run onboarding, not account management.

Design & Research

2 product designers who spend 20% of their time in customer facilities to understand how operations teams actually work before designing anything.

Working at Relynk

We are a small team with a clear opinion: the best industrial software is built by people who have worked inside industrial facilities. We hire domain-first.

The team is based in Chicago with remote options for engineering roles. We don't have a recruiting page because we move deliberately on hiring. If you have a specific background in industrial operations or OT/IT integration, reach out directly.
