Built inside a plant,
not beside one

Relynk started with a specific frustration: discovering equipment failures after the fact, in a maintenance log, when the damage is already done.

Why Relynk exists

In 2021, Simen Bakken was running reliability engineering for a mid-size auto parts supplier in the Oslo area. The plant had 200+ sensors across 14 production lines. The data lived in three separate SCADA systems that didn't talk to each other. Anomaly analysis was done weekly in Excel.

A bearing failure on a press machine cost them 38 hours of unplanned downtime and a missed delivery. The sensor data showing abnormal vibration had been there for 11 days. No one saw it.

Simen built the first version of Relynk in six months. Not to replace SCADA - but to aggregate it, watch it, and route the right information to the right person before a failure became a shutdown.

The company was founded in 2022. Today Relynk is used by operations teams in manufacturing, energy, and process industries across the US. Relynk is backed by TRK Group through a seed round investment.

Industrial operations

How we think about the problem

Most industrial intelligence tools are built for data scientists. We build for operations engineers who have 40 machines to watch and a two-hour maintenance window on Saturdays.

Read-only, by default

Relynk never writes to your SCADA or control systems. The platform reads, aggregates, and analyzes. Your OT team doesn't have to sign off on a new control path.

Speed over sophistication

A useful alert at 9am beats a perfect model delivered in 6 months. Relynk uses statistical baselines that work immediately on historical data, not ML that needs 12 months of clean training runs.

CMMS-first output

We integrate with SAP PM, Maximo, and eMaint out of the box because that's where the work gets done. Insights that don't translate to work orders don't change what happens on the floor.

Relynk team

A small team with deep domain knowledge

The Relynk team has a combined 40+ years in industrial operations, reliability engineering, and industrial software. We are not a general-purpose IoT platform that discovered manufacturing.
